Pastor David Lewis, one of God’s anointed leaders has been the visionary steward for St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church-Detroit, Michigan for 13 years. An effective communicator of God’s Word, Pastor Lewis is known for his anointed gifts and spirited teaching style which assist people in applying the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives. “I feel called to missions, not only to aid those in need, but to learn from those I serve that I may walk closer with Christ.”

Pastor Lewis faithfully serves his local and global communities to embolden those who are marginalized, from the Great Lakes, and beyond. As a classically trained pianist, Pastor Lewis studied the theology of music (dubbed the “Lightening” at Oakland University, due to his precision, accuracy, and momentum), affording him the opportunity to connect with worshipers via song, as well. A true pillar of the community, Pastor Lewis serves as speaker and co-host for the “My Hallelujah!” Radio Show, Saturday’s 8am, EST. On WMMK 1440-Detroit, and he’s the musical brainchild behind the new single “Jesus!” Pastor Lewis continues to teach and empower those around him with the wisdom of God, creating skills to bless those they encounter…leading people to find and follow Jesus both online and on campus.

Vickie Lewis, the First Lady of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, and the CEO of VMX International an environmental engineering consulting firm headquartered in Detroit that works with businesses across the nation to properly recycle and dispose of items ranging from office paper to hazardous materials. VMX currently has over 60 full-time employees managing environmental projects in several states across the nation. Profiled in the “Work and Wealth” section of “Essence Magazine”, motivated by her story “Essence Magazine” selected Vickie’s profile for the tabletop book “Making It Happen – Creating Success and Abundance.” A native of Detroit, Vickie is the co-host of “My Hallelujah!” Radio Show, wife of Pastor David Lewis, and the proud mother of Dr. David Lewis, Jr., Anesthesiologist.
